One of the best things about traveling here from the East Coast for your Yosemite wedding is the opportunity to have an early morning without being too tired. Tina and Nathan did just that, and with the help of AddyRose Design and our All Inclusive Elopement Packages, were able to easily put together their perfect morning wedding at Tunnel View. Quickly and easily, they were able to take care of details and arrange for great local vendors like Bellissimo for hair and makeup that helped Tina look her best on her wedding day.
Nathan had actually been hoping for snow to cover Yosemite while they were here, but had to settle for a warm spring day instead. The morning light at Tunnel View is just outstanding. Best of all, Tunnel View is often empty in the morning; while tourists were still sitting around the breakfast table, Tina and Nathan made the it their own. It was there, standing on a ledge with an unbeatable view, that Rev. Autrey Nassar officiated their wedding ceremony. Surrounded by some of their closest loved ones they promised their lives to each other.
The day before they had hiked to the top of Yosemite Falls. It’s a strenuous hike at best, and it gave them (and their guests) a healthy perspective of both Yosemite and life. It also put them in the perfect mood to relax in the valley on their wedding day. There was so much for them to take in and see as we traveled through the valley, so much love.
In the short time that I had to spend with them, I could see their peaceful nature. It was in the way that they walked together, enjoyed the views arm in arm, and even looked at each other. And they both looked great together, which didn’t hurt. Nathan kept remarking how he enjoyed the juxtaposition of formal wedding attire in Yosemite, the meeting of the refined and the natural. Tina told me that he would have been just as comfortable in everyday clothes, and I could see that. Of course, I also get the feeling that Tina would have been fine doing just the same. That’s because the truth is much more simple, all they really needed were each other.Planning and flowers: AddyRose Design Hair and Makeup: Bellissimo Officiant: Rev.
